Elddis Transport is a privately owned company which commenced trading on the 6th September 1971 and began operating with only 6 vehicles.

Currently the company operates over 145 vehicles and 260 trailers from a number of location in the UK, supplemented by 250,000 sq.ft of warehousing space and a total workforce of over 300 people. Transport is predominantly carried out on a trunking basis from and to the North East, with a comprehensive distribution service throughout the Northern Counties of Scotland.

The head office is based at Consett, where modern IT links are manned by experienced staff. The site also offers extensive parking and crossdocking facilities to accommodate vehicle fleets of our-based clients.
